some time ago i came to the conclusion that people surround themselves with what they're feeling -- when they're excited, so are all of the colours, sounds, and images they're drawn to.
the flaw in that theory came to me only recently. i now see that people surround themselves with what they want to feel, inviting what they most hope for, fear and love.
